Final Fantasy's Tetsuya Nomura Redesigns Batman

And it looks badass.

Tetsuya Nomura, the man responsible for creating Kingdom Hearts as well as designing some of Final Fantasy’s most iconic characters, has unveiled a new interpretation of Batman, and it’s pretty eccentric.
Currently on display at San Diego Comic-Con, the new version of Batman was done to celebrate an upcoming line of Square Enix and DC Comics-produced collectible figurines, which will be sold under the title Variant Play Arts Kai series.
While purists are unlikely to be convinced, it’s certainly a unique take on Gotham’s Dark Knight. Seeing as Disney owns Marvel rather than DC, there’s no way we’ll be seeing this version cropping up in a new Kingdom Hearts game any time soon but still, it’s nice to get a glimpse of what might have been!
